JEE Main and Advanced Exam updated dates announced

The engineering entrance exam - JEE Main will be held on July 18 to 23. The information was given by the Union Minister for Human Resource Development Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank. The JEE Advanced exam, which is the entrance exam to IITs will be conducted in August.

The JEE Main exam is held twice in a year. One of which was conducted on January 6-9, 2020. The second exam previously was announced to be conducted in April 2020. However, the exam was postponed due to COVID-19. Candidates are allowed to give both the exams. The final merit list is decided by the best of the scores obtained in the any of two JEE Main exams. The candidates clearing the JEE Mains exam are allowed to participate in the JEE Advanced exam.

Meanwhile, the medical entrance exam - NEET will be held on July 26.

Both the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) and National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) exam is conducted by NTA(National Testing Agency). Candidates can download their admit card from the NTA website.
